Call for abstracts for national PROMs research conference
The 7th National Patient Reported Outcome Measures (PROMs) Research Conference is being staged in June and to ensure the event is packed with quality information from our sector, organisers have put out a call for abstracts to be considered for oral and poster presentations at the event.
The theme of this year conference, due to be hosted by the University of Sheffield on June 22, is PROMs Across the Lifespan. So, organisers are especially keen to see submissions relating to the development and application of PROMs across different ages groups, from children, to adults, to seniors.
They would also like to see abstracts touching on the application of PROMs across different life stages, including palliative care and life limiting conditions.
At InSpired Health Outcomes, we are proud to be co-sponsors of the event, which is being organised by a scientific group. This includes Professor Tracey Young (School of Health Related Research, University of Sheffield and NIHR ARC Yorkshire and Humber theme co-lead); Dr Jill Carlton (School of Health Related Research, University of Sheffield); and Dr Phil Powell (School of Health Related Research, University of Sheffield), with support from clinicians and academics from  ISOQOL UK and Ireland Scientific Interest Group.
The conference itself includes a mix of plenaries, live presentations and posters developed by PROMs researchers from across the UK, and brings together experts and specialists in the field of PROMs development and implementation.
The deadline for abstract submissions is Tuesday February 7, via this link. More information about the conference itself is available here, from the University of Sheffield. To talk to the team at InSpired Health Outcomes, please get in touch.
